Frequently asked questions

1- What is guaranteed response time?

Guaranteed response time is maximum time to respond to an issue based on severity. Emergency issues are responded to immediately. Since criticality of issues are different from industry to industry, we can discuss your needs and adjust the Service Level Agreements accordingly.

2- Is your support team located in another country?

No, our support team is comprised of Engineers hired locally. Your systems are too important to put them in the hands of lower paid technicians, and although there are talented people in other countries, the language barriers could create major problems as a result of miscommunication.

3- What sets you apart from other IT firms in my area?

Most IT firms are founded by technical minded people who are very narrowly focused on logical problem solving. Running a business is all about being practical. Instead of cookie cutter solutions that make it more profitable for the service provider, our solution advisers spend time to understand and capture your business workflow in order to design solutions that do not disrupt the tried and true ways your business moves forward.

4- Can I just call when we have a problem instead of fixed monthly payment?

This was the norm up until a few years ago when businesses still relied on paper based processes and could wait a day or longer for someone to show up and fix things. Today, even a few minutes seems like an eternity. In order to provide Guaranteed response times, we need to keep enough people on staff to provide timely service.

5- Can we choose from services not included in  the package such as Backup/Disaster Recovery without signing up for the Enterprise package?

Absolutely. Our company’s focus is not forcing people into specific package. Our main focus is to provide clients with peace of mind. We are here to help you with all your needs.

6- Do we need to sign a contract or is it month-to-month?

You can certainly choose either option. Our term agreements come with a satisfaction guarantee and can be cancelled after 60 days with no penalties. Just like Telecommunication agreements or apartment rentals where month-to-month is priced higher, the prices offered here are based on term agreements to allow us recoup our investment in getting a new client on-board. If you are more comfortable with a month-to-month agreement, you can start that way and once you get to know why other companies have kept us around for as long as 18 years, you can always switch over to a term agreement and avoid the additional 20% in cost for month-to-month.
